LG's official announcement omits certain details, including the origin of the "Oxide" terminology. However, one uncertainty has been partially resolved: initial manufacturing partnerships. LG confirms existing shipments of Oxide 1Hz panels to Dell, integrated into January's XPS series unveiling. (Dell provided evaluation units of their XPS 14 model, which incorporated OLED screens.)
